SCANA Corporation - Benefits Package
Benefits Package
Competitive, Comprehensive Benefits
As a large, well established company, SCANA offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive salaries and a number of other extras to meet the needs and interests of our diverse workforce.

We have an established retirement pension plan as well as a 401(K) plan that matches dollar for dollar up to 6 percent. Employees are eligible to start contributing to their 401(k) plan upon hire. All benefits begin on the first day of employment and employees are fully vested for retirement earnings after five years of service.

SCANA also offers a variety of health, job and leisure-related benefits. There are standard paid holidays, vacation days and other paid time off (PTO); choices for medical, dental and vision coverage; group life insurance; medical reimbursement and dependent day care reimbursement spending accounts; credit union membership, and short-term and long-term disability coverage. (Benefits vary from company to company.)

Wellness
Wellness resources include a company pharmacy which offers most prescription drugs at lower cost than retail, a full-time health coach and an employee assistance program. Many other wellness initiatives are offered throughout the year.

Safety
Safety is a core value that SCANA takes very seriously. From the office, to the plant to the front-line employee, we provide training, guidance and continued reminders about ways to stay safe at work. All employees are vital to keeping each other safe.

Professional Development
SCANA is also committed to developing our employees. We offer a variety of opportunities for our employees including leadership development, classes and training for employees, personal development workshops, setting yearly goals and development objectives as well as tuition reimbursement for some degree programs and professional accreditations.

We also encourage and support our employees’ participation in their local communities, ranging from weatherizing homes for low-income and elderly people to mentoring young people.
