    Applied for combined construction and operating licenses (COLs) with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)

  3. May 2008

    Signed an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract with Westinghouse and the
    Shaw Group

  4. February 2009

    Received approval from the Public Service Commission of South Carolina (PSC)

  5. April 2010

    Received Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) from the NRC

  6. April 2011

    Received Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) from the NRC

  7. August 2011

    Received Final Safety Evaluation Report (SER) from NRC

  8. March 2012

    Received licenses

  9. March 2013

    Completed first nuclear concrete placement
