Durham, N.C. (Dec. 5, 2006) – Seventy-five families in the Raleigh/Durham area will enjoy the holiday season a little more thanks to the generosity of PSNC Energy employees. For the 3rd year, the PSNC Energy family is giving bags of food and toys to low income families who were identified through employee referrals.
"I can't tell you how much it means to see the gratitude these families show us when we go to their homes," said Buddy Flake, PSNC Energy project leader. "It's humbling to see and makes us even more motivated to serve our community in any way that we can."
PSNC Energy employees will assemble and deliver the holiday baskets on Wednesday, December 6. Assembly begins at 10 a.m. at PSNC Energy's South Durham Operations Center at 2451 Whilden Drive, off Alston Avenue, in Durham. The baskets will be delivered to homes beginning at 10:30 a.m.
